Yesterday, I found a very interesting place in Paris! It is called "La Réserve des arts" and basically it's a place where you can find supplies (at a low/very low price).
They buy end of stocks, scrap materials, old stocks from factories or not used materials and resell them, offering them a second life. These "scraps" are repurposed by them into supplies. I like them due to their upcycling activity, I am a big fan of Upcycling! :)
Only art professionals can buy from them: artists, art or architecture students etc. In order to buy, you must become a member, in exchange of a fee (5-50 Eur).
So I became a member, and I found some very interesting leather scraps or whole pieces, and not only that! :D
That means that a new project will happen soon!

Ce am facut la Street Delivery?!
1. Am facut un cui (am batut fierul...cat era cald)!!!

Sunstine si participa la Street Delivery, 11-13 iunie, Str. Arthur Verona
"Demarat de Ordinul Arhitecţilor din România şi de Fundaţia Cărtureşti în 2006, Street Delivery îşi propune să transforme strada Arthur Verona într-un traseu cultural-pietonal ce leagă Grădina Icoanei de Grădina Cişmigiu, după cum este prevăzut în Planul Urbanistic Zonal «Trasee culturale: str. Arthur Verona – str. Icoanei» ce a fost validat având la bază un regulament de urbanism.
Ca în fiecare an, timp de 3 zile Strada Arthur Verona va fi închisă pentru maşini şi deschisă pentru oameni. Toate activitaţile culturale desfăşurate pe stradă în acest interval sunt un manifest viu prin care atragem atenţia asupra oraşului ca responsabilitate comună a celor care îl locuiesc şi a celor care îl administrează. Street Delivery este un exerciţiu alternativ de locuire a spaţiului public, o platformă de promovare pentru iniţiative civice, sociale, culturale, artistice, definitorii pentru un Bucureşti european."

Comanda de martisoare
Miercurea trecuta am primit o comanda de martisoare de la un bun prieten. Vroia 35 de martisoare facute manual. Am acceptat propunerea lui, iar sambata m-am apucat de lucru. Niciodata nu am lucrat cu mai multa placere si hotarare :) Realizarea lor a durat aproximativ 20 de ore, pe decursul intregului weekend. Am descoperit cat de frumos se lucreaza cu Cernit, pentru ca pana acum folosisem doar Fimo. Le-am modelat, le-am copt, le-am atasat zale sau suporturi pentru brose, le-am pictat diverse detalii, apoi le-am pus snurul bicolor, dupa care le-am capsat pe carton, iar in cele din urma le-am "ambalat" in plicurile facute tot de mine prin Upcycling.
Dupa ce am terminat cu comanda lui, m-am gandit ca ar fi frumos sa fac si pentru colegele mele de la birou cateva, asa ca am reluat operatiunea!
In concluzie, am avut un weekend plin, dar cu foarte multe satisfactii! :)
